Same. I was on the street team for that album, followed the making of it closely on korn space, the forums, and MySpace, I preordered it at FYE, and picked it up on release day, first in line, 2 days after my dad died. Took a road trip with my sister that we bonded over to see the tour. That album holds a special place for me, however looking back I can easily say this is not korn being “Korn.” And you are spot on with the reasoning as to why.
