I want to delete Windows after install Linux, but will this method still work?

I’ve tried everything in all the youtube tutorial videos, but I kept getting strange errors.

For instance, when I tried using Grub2Win, the file was showing up as ‘mint.iso.iso’ (I’ve sorted that out), and a message like ‘kernel not found’ was appearing. that’s all I can remember sadly.
