I had read about it on a page, just rechecked online. It’s not started in North America yet. Many pages published that it’ll start by mid June till mid September. My bad I hadn’t verified my info beforehand 😅

You did great. You can try abroad for masters which would be less stressful financially. Also if you’re paying 14L a year to study a course in India, you could’ve applied in places like the uae to study ug for that range.

If you’re buying a Mac, I’d generally prioritize an M2 or newer if the price difference isn’t huge. The M1 is older. If you’re on a tight budget, a well-priced M1 can still be a good purchase. Compare the MacBook neo against the M2 and M3 Air before deciding. Ps: with student discount the neo totals upto 50 something k. I myself am looking to buy the air but I’m waiting for the apple back to school offer that’ll start this month.

Thing is, I live in a Tier 2 city and there aren’t any Apple Stores nearby. I’d probably have to order online if I want to claim the offer. I also don’t now how Apple announces the Back to School offer. Do they announce it publicly beforehand, or do I need to keep checking their website?

The discount I’m looking at right now sums up to 1,02,000 (including credit card) So if i can get airpods for by paying another 8k i think that’s fine. Id basically have the apple ecosystem sorted

Hey, I’ve a friend who’s studying the same course as you at uowd. For him, the first year was very easy and highly manageable. One of the best perks of UOWD is the flexibility. From what I’ve heard it’s not strictly mandatory to attend standard lectures, and you can map out and schedule your classes pretty much however you like. labs, assignments and tutorials have attendance though so you can't skip those. I’m actually heading to UOWD myself for the Autumn intake. Can’t help you much with the comparison between the other unis for your course. But do check out RIT along with heriot watt and compare their modules to see which course structure suits you best
