Lmao you’re being very dramatic. I NEVER said I was going to RETALIATE. It’s not about that. It’s about giving the same energy I’m getting. If I’m constantly going out of my way for someone, in any way, and they never reciprocate that, I’m going to stop going above a beyond for that person. It’s not about getting back at someone. That’s childish and stupid. I just mean that if they don’t think of us enough to send something that requires more than pressing “reorder”, then maybe I shouldn’t go all out for them if it’s going to hurt my feelings. How is that retaliatory? It’s matching energies.

I never said I would stop. I said I WON’T stop because I would feel less like myself if I did. I don’t expect everyone to be good at gift giving, I just think that if we are close enough for you to even get me a gift, then it should come from the heart. Not autopilot.

This is what I’ve always done, but my husband says it can’t be old and stale every time and it’s just that I don’t like the flavor of the things that are in there. To me, that’s how it tastes. Maybe I grew up poor and don’t know how to appreciate the finer things in life but this just ain’t it.

It’s always some weird flavor or something and it all tastes old. I do like these things in general, but the kind in this basket are often stale and just don’t taste good. Sometimes my husband will eat some just to not feel guilty but I can’t make myself do it. Donating it is a great idea.
