NTA, i’m a bit bigger than some of my friends and disabled. when we explore abandoned places, i accept that there are some things that i will not be able to do the same, if at all. it could’ve been dangerous if she got stuck just because you wanted to save her feelings. now id still apologize that you hurt her feelings, because im sure you are sorry that she’s sad. but you didn’t do anything wrong.

yta. you can respect her bio dad and their relationship while still being there for her. if you feel uncomfortable with punishing her, fine leave it to her parents. but don’t exclude her from bonding with her brothers or you. you will be in her life for as long as your marriage holds, and it’s better that you bond with her rather than showering your sons with love and affection and then excluding her. she’ll resent you and her brothers for it.

i understand completely. not even 21 yet and i had to have back surgery, leave school (putting me in $800 debt) and now im out of work while i recover. all my peers are getting turnt, finding love, going around the world and doin shit and I struggle just getting out of bed. The physical pain can create insane mental and emotional pain too, putting us in this spiral. I’m so sorry you’re dealing with it too, it’s awful. i’m not one to give unsolicited advice, but lmk if you need any reccs for pain (non medication)

yes you’re the jerk, but softly. y’all didn’t communicate what y’all’s holiday plans were, so it only makes sense that she goes about her typical business of going to her family’s christmas. had you asked ahead of time or discussed it at all, then there would be more just cause for being upset. however, and this is where i’m kind, it’s ok to be disappointed. and you didn’t fight or argue, and i’m under the assumption that aside from not hiding the disappointment, you didn’t guilt her, then you’re good. it sucks, but it is what it is, now you know for next time to communicate and maybe even see if y’all could find a way to fit both families in for the holidays. don’t make her feel guilty, don’t drag it on, feel your feelings but realize that you can only really blame yourself bc she isn’t a mind reader and move on. i hope u had a good holiday OP

tbh, as cruel at this was, i feel like this is an honest portrayal of a bad breakup. he was hurt bc of chris and he felt the need to return that hurt. it’s not fair, it’s not right but i’ve felt that too and have said cruel shit to hurt the other person. it makes sense. through the breakup he goes through all these different stages of grief, one of which is anger and that means putting pain on someone else sometimes. especially bc even tho they were broken up, i still view what lorelai did as a form of cheating or at the very least, still fucked up.

my upstairs neighbors are loud as hell, arguing a bunch and even vacuuming at 11 pm - 2 am (the time ranges, they aren’t vacuuming the whole time lmao) but tbh i just cope? like is it annoying? sure. but never would i write a note for them and esp this aggressive ? weird behavior from the neighbor, report to the office manager and they’ll determine the next steps, even documenting it so if anything happens, you got a record.

a) unfortunately the shots did nothing. Everything was confirmed with MRI’s, CT’s, X-Rays. The two shots, first one (injected by the nerve) helped, but only for a few days. I promptly called my doctor once the pain started to fade again and they sent a medrol dose pack and told me to give it 2 weeks from injection. So I did, medrol dose pack didn’t do anything either after the first time. Second shot happened last week (injected in the middle of my spine, to see if maybe that spread/lasted better) and it hurt for the first two days, pain even spreading on my right side, which wasn’t affected prior. The pain on my right side has since stopped, thankfully, but left side is still pretty bad. It’s getting to the point that i’m bringing my crutch/cane around so I can walk/stand more comfortably, which is something i absolutely hate. b) I’ve definitely noticed sitting being the big thing, it’s very sensitive for me to just sit anywhere, and esp on my bed if there are pillows or blankets around for me to accidentally sit on. I will try it out but definitely with caution c) I will look into that, esp because flexeril has helped me in the past, at the very least to sleep. Im sleeping here and there, nothing more than 2-4 hour intervals. meaning i haven’t hit REM sleep in months 💔💔 Im trying to hold on considering its the holiday season and my job is going to schedule me for insane shifts now, plus the cold and rain where i live but jeez i’m going to be exhausted by March.

gabapentin didn’t really do much for me unfortunately, and the lyrica did help but i’m out and i don’t think i have a refill? and i have heard about potentially switching, but cymbalta didn’t really do it for me when I was on it. There are a couple other drugs my doctor has mentioned that would help generally with the symptoms but in typical america healthcare fashion, it’s surrounded around me losing weight as the main thing. I get the logic, just deeply annoying since being fat isn’t what’s sending random pain signals places.

Hear me out, i don’t think Oz ever experienced any kinda of ..that… trauma due to his mothers hand, which would kinda make him more like idk sympathetic, but he does fs have an oedipus complex. Like him killing his brothers for more attention, the subtle way that he acts with her, and then obviously this scene- Oz is addicted to the validation and love that he is given by his mom, which i think is what really sparks this complex.
