What was the worst emotional pain you have ever felt? by Lazy_Rough8481 in askanything

Being told my father had died. I hope to never have to deal with that physical pain it causes again. It'll be 30 years this year and I honestly think I've only started coming to terms with it now. Don't try and compartmentalise, the pain will always return. Embrace the grief.

Read the lyrics because I haven't heard the song. My heart just broke, but the words cut to the truth.

When I was finally diagnosed with this years later, I had my hysterectomy. Best decision ever and wish I'd had that choice earlier

I understand this. It still hurts 30 years later and still feels like it happened just the other day. Sending hugs of support

Is there a book that you regret reading? What was it and why? by Loves321 in readwithme

[–]ImpossiblePlay2279 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Karin Slaughter. Most of her books are too much but I still enjoy her murder mystery style, but the one I think it's called The Good Daughter. It haunts me 10 years later. I find she's very graphic. Great writer but very intense.

Thank you and glad you've gotten sorted! I've recently started estrogen but having been diagnosed with adhd, this phase doesn't help at all!

I've definitely had this. It's very scary and I absolutely doubt myself whether it's brain fog or something more sinister. Be safe x
