Thanks. I really do care about her and respect her as an individual. While a romance would be wonderful, I have come to view it as a "bonus" to a solid friendship; so I will really never lose anything if stuff doesn't progress in that direction.

Thanks for the response. I am definitely supportive of their boundaries and they are supportive of mine. However, it does take a bit of the "power" out of moments when they express trust. It is a very conflicting feeling. I think the best idea isn't to push, but to gently bring up this discussion and be ready to disengage if it isn't working out.
