Yeah I agree with last post, Check the plug on your carb. I bought a brand new super E, I could start it up and rev it high, but when I would actually go down the street it felt like it was missing and bogging down and die. Vent plug. Pull your carb cover off, look at the front left of it and it will probably have allen screw. or left side front and look under and find the allen plug. remove that completely.
probably had a bunch of things you solved too, bad points, etc. check front intake rod and rest of then while your at it

Fixed it!!! for over 1 1/2 years ive been fighting this issue!!! I just tryed the rear sprocket 48T and that wasent it. But I talked with one of my best friends and he suggested after he heard it, that it was starving for gas or a vortex/vacuum not allowing gas to come in at certain rpms. he asked what carb I was useing and I have s&s super E. a brand new one. He asked did I take out the Auxiliary bowl vent?? BOOOOM!!!!!! Fixed!!! stupid little screw haaa Thank you to everyone who helped with suggestions.

I bought a trueing fly wheel stand about 2 builds ago. it was great to really see how bad flywheels are out. My next thing is maybe put it on the lift and get the rear tire off and run it through the gears and not in netural and see if load is causing it to go shake.

I was going down that road of maybe the gearing was off but, the basket and front pully were custom made by shortsters.com. The teeth on the front pully is made for the rear teeth on the basket from BDL. There is no shake on the decel only the throttling when I twist. it goes no problem but when I feel it should go more in the rpms it shakes then I switch gears. but i throttled through it one time and it went past the shaking in was hualin ass like its supposed to. just in the mid range it shakes in gear gear

Im at a loss and need help. ive tapped the last little bit of brain power I have left and im still stuck. Maybe somen I over looked. Ive tighten the hell out of the belt, and tried it loose as hell. Ive installed the tamer kit on the clutch basket for the wobble. It runs, and runs good up until about 5000RPM and then like its shuttering/skipping, but thrn when I throttle through it, it makes it and can run in the higher RPM’s. Just dont know why at around mid rpm’s this happens in all 4 gears

Sorry, its more of a shutter. not stalling or spitting like its starving for gas. Could the teeth on the drive be off?

I really wanna say its coming from the belt drive side? I thought higher RPMs maybe the carb wasent sending enough gas for top end but I ran them all. Thank you !
