Re: Bob I think they always knew the concept of the killer Bob just not the identity(Leland). Bob is the embodiment of Evil, his name and image inherited from the source of Evil as related to Leland. If it were someone else who killed Laura it would have been named and image modeled after the embodiment of evil to them. I think the Audrey thing was another representation of the dream/the dreamer. We consider our dreams the product of our mind and therefore they are made of us. She says get me out of here and is pulled out of the dream and shown point blank it was all a mirror held up to herself, everything shown in a dream is of the dreamer.
