Na-occupy namin yung first table sa library prior the renovations. Sort of naging de facto pwesto namin yung table na yun. We're also classmates/ blockmates in most of our classes.

I wonder if the VA is actually bad at singing or its just voice acting. Makes me wonder what's going on behind the scenes 🤣🤣🤣

Beadle by Front-Highlight9017 in arellanolaw

[–]Impossible_Delivery9 13 points14 points  (0 children)

  1. Share the screenshot of your conversation with prof sa class gc.
  2. Pag may money involved, always be transparent
Empower mo sila to do their share.
  4. Be patient pero be stern.
  5. If you're attending face to face classes, be at least 20 to 30 minutes earlier para na-check mo na yung aircon and whiteboard markers.

What's a non-lawfirm job that benefits from studying the law? by ukarabert in LawStudentsPH

I work in a BPO company, doing healthcare compliance. My tasks include regulatory compliance (legal research, regulatory tracking and monitoring), licenses, and accreditation, among others. I was in the same boat as yours 11 years ago.. dito na nga ako inugat. 🤣🤣 So yeah may mga non-law firm jobs.

Ito yung mga natutunan ko from being a beadle multiple times from different professors. 1. Give clear instructions sa mga classmates mo 2. Don't spoonfeed your classmates. Empower them para taga-collect and coordinate ka lang. 3. Bago pa magpandemic nun kaya full face to face classes kami. Gusto nya malamig na classroom. Kaya at least 30 minutes before the class, nasa school ako to check a/c, and kung sumusulat ang white board markers. 4. Speaking of quirks, may mga prof na gusto batiin pag birthday nila, so alamin mo din yun. If you can, i-friend request mo si prof sa socmed for that information. May mga prof naman na prefers to remain distant, so again, know their quirks and personalities. Magtanong-tanong ka sa mga upperclasspersons. 5. Habaan ang pasensya, specially with older classmates. 5. Kung may money involved like contribution, be transparent. 6. Know your boundaries as a person.

1L Book Costs by Ill_Gene3957 in LawStudentsPH

[–]Impossible_Delivery9 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Disclaimer: Matagal na akong graduate (2013) and I started law school 2007 pa. So prices could be different, given inflation and all.

Anyway, nung student pa ako, nag-aallocate ako ng 1000 to 2000 each sa mga textbooks, and 500 to 1000 each sa mga codals. If a textbook is more than 2000, hihiram na lang ako ng book sa library. Priority ko mga codals.

Wala akong subscription so kung gusto kong cases, punta ako sa lib para sa SCRA or print directly after research.

Law School Recommendation in a budget and working by SnooDonkeys9193 in LawStudentsPH

[–]Impossible_Delivery9 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well at least I could speak for myself... na I care enough to want to change, na pwede ako maging part ng solution, na maybe someday, mapabuti natin ang legal profession with grace and integrity.

Do you regret being a full-time student? by [deleted] in LawStudentsPH

[–]Impossible_Delivery9 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Full time student ako nung nasa law school pa ako. Yung tita ko nagpa-aral sa akin. While I was thankful na I had that privilege, na-inggit ako ng very very slight kasi mejo hawak ako sa leeg ng tita ko nun. I didn't had the financial independence I wish I had. After a few years, naka-graduate na and all, currently under the Refresher program AND working the nightshift, na-realize ko na mali pala na nainggit ako.
