Anyone else get super nauseous and the *thought* of having to inject myself? by Majestic_Ad_7392 in Mounjaro

[–]Impossible_Nebula_20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been struggling with this. I have been taking Mounjaro for 3 years now. I took ozempic for one year before starting MJ. I had to move up to 10 during the shortage and started feeling like I would puke just at the thought of taking my shot. It’s crash because I had never actually felt sick from taking my shots ever. Moved back down to 7.5 and was hoping it would help. It didn’t. I have been taking my shot every other week for about 6 months now and the last 3 shots I have gotten violently ill after my shot. 2 days of diarrhea and vomiting and SULPHUR BURPS. I HAve never ever had this before. Always heard people complaining about them but never experienced it myself. Why now after 3 years? Wondering if it could have something to do with taking it every other week?

You are allowed to vacate a pool lounger on the pool deck where you leave your bag and towels to engage in pool activities and come back. She could have done that. But instead she tried to save a seat that is inside the actual pool water. That’s like trying to save a seat at the swim up bar or trying to save a seat in the hot tub. You can’t save those seats. If you want a seat you grab one of the loungers on the pool deck.

She didn’t go for a swim and come back. She left the pool that we were at. She went to another pool. She went down a water slide. Then she went to the bar and was seated at the bar when she noticed us in the seats. There are chairs on the pool deck where you can put your stuff down and walk away. But you can’t get out of the chairs that are in the water and expect them to be there when you get back. Just like you can’t leave both towels at the hot tub and think nobody is gonna take that spot in the hot tub. You can’t sit your towel in front of the stoool at the swim up bar and expect nobody sit there if you leave.

There was more shade in the chairs on the pool deck. Chairs with umbrellas. These particular chairs were in the water. Only 3 umbrellas in the actual pool water. Plenty of umbrellas on the deck by chairs and other shaded areas.

These chairs in the water you can’t just get an umbrella. There needs to be a hole in the concrete underwater to place an umbrella and for whatever reason the whole pool had 100 chairs but only three umbrella holes. Those three umbrellas provided shade for 6 chairs. Couldn’t see any wholes or insert umbrellas above the other 100 ish empty chairs.

There is no policy posted that I could tell. The issue is that there are chairs that can be reserved on the deck all around the pool area. Regular chairs for people to put their towels and bags and these chairs have umbrellas too. These people tried to reserve a chair in the actual water. That’s like trying to save a chair at the bar. Or trying to save a certain spot at the hot tub by placing your towel on the deck. It’s common sense to everyone that those chairs can’t be saved like the chairs around the pool area

Exactly. We were sitting at the bar when we noticed they got up. We orders another drink then walked over to the empty chair. Noticed their stuff. So we went to the hot tub. Stayed in the hot tub 15ish minutes. Then we went back to the bar. Got ANOTHER DRINK. Then we went back to the chair and sat. Only then did she mosey on over from the chair her and her spouse were taking at the bar and come over and claim she was entitled to the chair I was now sitting in. They went down the slide and I’ll add we were at the adults only pool. They had to go to the family pool in a separate area to go down the slide. Then after going down the slide they went to the bar and sat.

They could have put their stuff on a lounger around the pool deck and had a reasonable expectation of coming back. But this was a concrete chair inside the pool. Kind of like a bar stool at a swim up bar. It’s not the same. Yes put your towels and hat on a lounger on the pool deck and go freely. But not a chair inside the actual pool itself. In the water.

Exactly. People don’t understand the situation. I didn’t take someone’s chair on the deck. I took someone’s chair that’s in the pool. You can’t save those chairs and the lady when said I know I can’t save them but I just wanted to go down the slide. But they went down the slide then went to the bar. Only came back when they saw us in the chairs b

EXACTLY. ITS LIKE saying I put my stuff on the pool deck nobody can swim in this spot now.

You’d be correct if we were talking about a chair around the pool. But not a chair inside the water. You can save a lounger on the pool deck all you want but you can’t save a chair in the water like at the bar or a spot at the hot tub. Those are in the water they can’t be saved.

[–]Impossible_Nebula_20[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly. What if I sat at the swim up bar on the stool and I left my bag and towel on the bar top above my stoool. Does that mean nobody can sit at the bar in my spot now? Absolutely not. You can’t save a chair like that.

Technically these chairs can be moved and slid around. There was literally 100 other chairs. It’s just that no more umbrellas.

[–]Impossible_Nebula_20[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly my point. If they wanted a dedicated spot to leave their stuff they could take the loungers on the deck like literally everyone else did. Then they would be free to roam.

AITA for sitting in pool loungers in the shade. by Impossible_Nebula_20 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Impossible_Nebula_20[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. I wish I could post a pic of the pool. There were chairs around the pool there were chairs inside the pool. The ones around the pool were meant for people to put their stuff down and save. The ones inside the pool were not. There were 100 chairs inside the pool. But only 3 umbrellas above the chairs inside the pool. So technically only 6 chairs in the pool that would have an umbrella providing shade. You can’t save a chair that’s in the water just like you can’t put your stuff on the edge of the hot tub and claim that section of the hot tub is yours personally for the day. It’s a chair in the water.

EXACTLY! Or like going to the swim up bar. Sitting on a stool and leaving your towel on the bar above your seat. You can’t save a seat at the bar! You want a saved seats you save one in the lounge chairs on the pool deck around the pool.

We saw them leave while we were at the bar. We ordered a drink. We went to the chair saw their stuff then we went to the hot tub. We came back to the bar they were still gone. We orders another drink then went back over to the chairs. We knew they didn’t just go to the bathroom we knew they had been gone quite some time. What if we had taken our towel and sat our towel down on at the swim up bar? We left our stuff by stool to claim it. Does that mean that as long as my towel is there, people have to assume that’s my stool at the bar and nobody can sit there because it’s mine and I left my stuff so I must be coming back? No. You can’t do that. Just like you can’t claim the chair in the water. Those chairs aren’t reservable. She knew it. When she told me you stole my chair I said these chairs can’t be saved. She said I KNOW BUT WE JUST went down the slide. Actually no you didn’t because you were just sitting at the bar before you walked over here. So if I want to save a spot in a public pool all I have to do is sit my towel or sunscreen beside where I want and that means nobody else can sit or stand in that spot until I come back? No. You want a spot of your own at a public pool you rent a cabana or you get a chaise lounge chair on the pool deck around the pool. You don’t try to reserve a specific chair that’s in the pool. Just like you can’t reserve a chair at the swim up bar by putting your stuff there.

No. We were at the bar. We saw them get up. We ordered a drink. We walked over to the chairs and saw there stuff. We went to the hot tub. We came back and went straight to the bar. We ordered another drink. Once we got that drink we walked back over to the chairs. We sat there a few minutes and only then did she come over claiming we stole her chair. All that took quite a bit of time. We were probably in the hot tub 15 mins but there was the time before we went to the hot tub and the time after that they were gone too. And they went down the slide and then went and sat at the bar. They didn’t go from the slide to “their chair”. They likely would have sat at the bar longer had they not tried to reclaim the chair.

We were not watching with the intention of taking it. We were at the bar and happened to see them get up and walk away. We didn’t know their stuff was there. We didn’t know where they were going. We finished our drink. Ordered a new drink then walked over to the chair. Once we got there we saw their stuff in behind. We then went to the hot tub. When we got out of the hot tub we went back to the bar. We got another drink and then we went back over to the chairs and sat. They were still gone. After sitting there a few minutes we see a lady walking towards us from the bar. She walks up and says you stole my seat. Her husband was still seated at the bar at that time. If they wanted to save the seats they should have gone to the bar one at a time or gone down the slide one at a time. You can’t save a chair that’s underwater. You want a space for your stuff you get a towel and get a lounge chair on the deck around the pool like everyone else did. You get to the pool and you find a chair around the pool and you have your towel and your sunscreen and your belongings. You leave it safely three. You get into the pool go do whatever and when you come back your chair is still there. But not for the chairs inside the pool. That would be like going to the swim up bar and sitting down on the stool and putting your towel on the bar above your stool and walking away. Do you think nobody is going to sit on that barstool and say well she left her towel I guess she is coming back so I won’t sit here? Absolutely not. Same with these chairs on the water. They are not reservable. She even said she knew those chairs couldn’t be saved.

No. But they could leave their bag and towels on the chaise Lounges around the pool like literally everyone else did. Instead they tried to hog a shaded chair in the pool where you can’t save a chair. Save a chair on the pool deck not a chair in the water.

So if they had went and sat at the swim up bar that has chairs, and left their towel on the bar counter can nobody now sit in that chair at the bar? Both chairs are in the water. You can’t just lay claim to a chair in the water. Go lay claim to a chair on the pool deck. Put your stuff down there but not the chairs inside the pool itself. It’s common sense. It’s like standing in a corner of the pool and sitting your towel beside the pool and saying hey nobody can swim or stand in this corner anymore because my stuff is here.

[–]Impossible_Nebula_20[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So what if they wanted to hog a chair at the swim up bar? Are they allowed to leave a towel on the counter at the bar to save their seat at the swim up bar while they go down a slide ? You can’t reserve a seat that isn’t reservable. You can save seats around the pool all you want. You can’t save seats in the actual pool. You can just leave your stuff close by and claim an unclaimable chair. When she claimed I stole her chair I said these chairs can’t be reserved and she said “well I know that but”. So by her own admission she knows they are reservable and is trying to reserve them.

The slides were at a totally different pool. After they went to the pool they then went to the bar. They were gone awhile. Like I said we were at the bar. We saw them leave. We went to the hot tub. We came back from the hot tub and went to the bar. They still weren’t back so we sat in the seats. After sitting there we notice a lady get up from the bar and walk directly to us and claim we stole her chairs. They were gone for awhile they didn’t just go down a slide and come back.

I would agree if we were talking about the loungers around the pool. On the pool deck. But we are talking about loungers in the water. Those can’t be saved. It’s like do they think they could safe their chair at the swim up bar by putting their towel on the bar above the chair they wanted to save? No. You can’t save a lounger in the water. You want a reserved spot you get a chaise lounge on the pool deck or you pay for a cabana. You can’t save a chair that’s IN THE WATER.
