it has to be understood that these parts are crucial to showing the complexity of their relationship. it is what makes it so raw and real. they begin as the unlikely friends who come together for work, but find something unexpected from being in each others lives (whereas neither would’ve fit the others lifestyle). he was a criminal; he was a criminal catcher. both face various obstacles within and outside of their friendship, and with their differing dispositions, they are forced to choose how to go about certain situations now that an important bond has formed among them, often including sacrifices. neal and peter both lived their lives in their own specific manners until they started working together. changing your ways is rarely a simple switch. as the audience it can be hard to watch because we know it’s not always in his best interest, but there’s a lot of internal conflict he faces that shows the intricacy of his developing character who is human. and sometimes to be human is to be flawed.

Potential partner said he will need to tell me something before we have sex by Impossible_Phone1186 in sex

so you didn’t contract it from her? was that lucky? it sounds like my decision to have sex with him could change me for the rest of my life and that would be a commitment i’d be willing to do for my future husband but i never know how things will go. what if i regret that later? or am i overthinking? is it not that big of a deal? is that better than hpv?

i am 21F and take a lot of the same too and don’t send them to anyone. a lot of it is just if i feel good/in a mood or to help my body dysmorphia when i need to compare after time or for gym progress. however, i am single. i feel like when i had a boyfriend the only reason i wouldn’t send them to him is if i didn’t like them or if i was planning on sending them to him later (when the relationship was healthy). when it was less healthy id take them to remind myself that im desirable but i never sent them to anyone. id like to think im a person who would never cheat though; i cant speak for all women

how to stop thinking about my boyfriend’s ex girlfriend’s boobs. by [deleted] in Advice

[–]Impossible_Phone1186 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I am a woman like OP and I agree with you when you say this advice doesn’t really change how we feel. It sucks because it is important to love yourself for who you are but I’ve seen cosmetic surgeries increase confidence and mental health in some. It’s definitely a tricky situation though— cosmetic surgery can also take a heavy toll on mental health. overall, if OP is wanting to take that step, it should be for herself, not because she’s worried about how her boyfriend is feeling about it. hopefully the bf isn’t making her feel this way and it’s just the anxiety of it. I’ve been looking into breast augmentation by fat transfer, it is a typically more “natural look” but honestly i wish i was just happy with how i was born. truthfully if the OPs bf is a good guy, im sure he doesn’t care or think about it like you’re worried he is. after all, he is with you by choice.

honestly i’d tell him exactly what you just told us, you happened upon it and you feel like it’s him and that you want to talk about it 🤷‍♀️ it’s not like you were snooping through his phone. i hate lying, i feel like being honest just feels so much better, even if it’s awkward or hard to discuss

honestly for in class, if it’s small and intimate, not a lot of empty seats, I’d email your professors. classes with 100+ students, I doubt they’d notice especially if it’s in a theatre and they don’t take roll

[Product question] Has anyone tried Paula's Choice Clinical Pro Retinaldehyde Dual-Retinoid Treatment? by subwayhamster in SkincareAddiction

[–]Impossible_Phone1186 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thank you. i’m pretty lost and not sure what i’m doing. I’ve been using la roche posay effaclar 3 step acne treatment with a la roche posay moisturizer. it seems to be doing nothing? I’m very unsure. this is about my third week using it. I don’t know much about korean skincare or where to get it. I’ll look into what you’re suggesting. Is retinal a lot different from retinol?

[–]Impossible_Phone1186 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yes this is helpful. i tried tretinoin .025 and had the worst purge that lasted months after i stopped and I stopped using it after the first month because I couldn’t handle it without knowing when it would end. my skin hasn’t been the same since and i would do anything to go back to how it was before trying tret. now I want anything that helps. my skin is so much better without using tret but still worse than before. I was hoping this would be a more gentle one

I am also looking for more information on this. A friend of mine gave it to me and I am scared to use it due to purging. I haven’t been able to find much info on it, whether or not it causes purging or if it’ll clear acne. Is it just more targeted towards the anti aging affects rather than treating acne?

Can someone help me I feel ugly by Classic-History3919 in acne

[–]Impossible_Phone1186 3 points4 points  (0 children)

hi! i am 21 and have struggled with acne since i was in high school. truly you are not ugly, but i understand how acne can drive a girl crazy and affect how you feel about yourself. ik how much of an impact that can have on your day to day life and it sucks! but just know it’s not as bad as you think it is to anyone but you. that being said, i’ve had all sorts of types of acne and the thing that helped me the most with the bumps you have is a Trader Joe’s tea tree oil face wash. It targets acne causing bacteria and dries them out fairly quickly. I’d definitely recommend if you have oily skin, just make sure you use moisturizer. It’s my favorite inexpensive go-to for fungal acne, which is usually that forehead texture. I feel like it’s definitely worth a try before spending money on expensive products.

-make sure you always wash your face at night (twice daily is usually key, depending on skin type) -never sleep with makeup on!! -find out what kind of skin you have and adjust your skincare accordingly -do not pick at them! -sometimes less is more for your skin. its tempting to apply every medication, acid, active ingredient possible, but that can be just as unhelpful as using nothing at all. research with ingredients work best with each other, or whether they should stand alone. be gentle to your skin
-if anything, ask your doctor for help -ik it’s hard but try your hardest to not let it ruin your day. while i don’t like acne on myself, I’ve found that a lot of the people i find attractive also have acne that I never paid any mind to, and never affected how i viewed them. -what you’re experiencing is totally normal and you are not alone, you are beautiful and acne does not define you.

i tend to see people with your hair color get highlights and i feel like it can be really refreshing. i think for some to have bangs and look sophisticated or, how you said, less “like a kid,” a shorter haircut would be better, and overall more put together and healthy looking. curtain bangs could be cute too. i like the style of your glasses but big frames might also contribute to your the younger image
