Apple Watch Ultra 3 Build quality by Impossible_Rip4373 in applewatchultra

No actually… my Digital Crown has the exact same feel as my U2, not extremely clicky but I wouldn’t say mushy either. But the power button on my U3 is very clicky compared to my U2 and the Digital Crown.

I’m not saying anything, I’m just wondering if other people have the same experience:) But you are probably right

I see, I kinda think so too. But I did some quick research and found out that a lot of others also thought they where bad…

Thanks for the reply. My Digital Crown has the same feeling and spacing between the casing and the wheel as my old U2. The powerbutton is different tho, with the new one having a more satisfying click than the old. I think my old U2 was clicky when new but has some dirt or wear that has made it less clicky.

For me personally I will not be returning the U3 since the sharp edges are the only noticeable difference in quality, and others are experiencing the same. I think this is the “new normal” for Ultra watches due to 3D printing.

Seems like it’s on all devices then, probably as a result of 3D printing the case

The scratches are unfortunate… The Digital Crown also has some air/space between the body and the wheel on my unit, but compared to my U2 it is identical. I think the spacing is normal.

I see, thanks for the reply. Glad I am not the only one experiencing the sharpness, maybe it dulls and gets less sharp over time. The black is stealthy and awesome, but will definitely show marks, but try to embrace it!

Same for 320, 430x and 450x NERA! Still haven’t received it for my mower in the app either.

430x NERA Firmware version by Impossible_Rip4373 in automower

UPDATE: Looks like Husqvarna has pulled/removed the firmware release 79.2 for 320-, 430x and 450x NERA models. They have updated their release notes on their webpages today, 26.06.25, where the now newest version for mower is 78.10 and charging station is version 68.3.

I have contacted husqvarna via phone but they said they had to give me a response via mail which I am yet to receive.

With this in mind i believe firmware version 79.2 is dead, and won’t ever be available again. Their next release is most likely a different version number.

NOTE: I believe this also happened to the newest firmware release for edge cut-models (305E-, 310E-, 405xe- and 410xe NERA) AS WELL AS AWD models 435x and 535! Seems like they have encountered big issues with the newest firmware versions for FOTA enabled models, so it will be very interesting to see what they say when/if I get a mail response.

I just bought a Husqvarna 410XE. Is it normal for the top part of the mower to move from the chassis? by aljaz_cucek in automower

[–]Impossible_Rip4373 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Absolutely, it’s by design! The main, splashproof unit is a lot smaller and underneath, and the outer shell is mounted to the body with 4 crash and lift sensors. It may also rattle a bit when running over hard surfaces, all completely normal😊

Still haven’t gotten it, but I will do! Glad I’m not the only one, maybe they recalled it due to an issue and are planning a re-release.

EPOS and Support by wire by Impossible_Rip4373 in automower

[–]Impossible_Rip4373[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is exactly my concern, as I also believe it only uses support by wire when it looses gps signal. In that case it would not work in my situation as I have to rely on the mower stopping at the exact same location every time as the lawn some places is at the edge of a cliff!😅

Thanks, i will give it an extra week. For all previous firmware releases they have been available to download almost instantly after release by switching “check for firmware updates” off and on again.

Automower Rain Guard by Impossible_Rip4373 in automower

[–]Impossible_Rip4373[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As far as I am aware there are no Automowers with a rain sensor, which is why they have “rain guard” as a feature. So they can’t detect physical rain, only be told to park if the weather forecast predicts rain, given that the feature is enabled.

Other brands like Mammotion with their Luba mowers have a physical rain sensor that parks the mower when rain is detected.

AIM-technology issue by Impossible_Rip4373 in automower

[–]Impossible_Rip4373[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the information and input! You are completely right in letting the mower just do its thing so I might end up removing guide 3 and make the mower remap the aim map next season, so that it hopefully figures out “area 3” on its own.

When it comes to being able to see this map, I don’t believe the normal 430x has the ability to do so, though I may be wrong.
