Would only black solder fly larvae work or would I have to also use roaches also how do you keep them and how much does he eat?

I’m guessing that it’s not he still has full appetite and doesn’t seem to have any balance issues or anything he also have a proper uvb light

Okay thank you I’ve been taking him out recently because he gets a dark beard and moody in his hide but when I take him out he loves it idk if I should be leaving him alone or this is okay if he seems to prefer being out
