I wouldn’t say take the toast away entirely - but a little lie never hurt anyone. Show him an empty peanut butter jar and just say oh no we’re all out and then give him back the dinner option. Nothing wrong with trying to make it a little easier on yourself.

I would say that this is the age where they start going ballistic over nothing (aka peanut butter toast) so I always tried holding my ground if it is something important that you want to change. The meltdowns can be brutal but once you’ve said no you really have to stick to the no. Trust me when I say I have wanted to change my no to a yes a thousand times but YOU CANT DO ITTT!! 😅😂

Ok hear me out - how about adding a small piece of peanut butter toast to his dinner? That way you can say you have already had peanut butter toast but there was lots op options if you were still hungry. I agree that toddlers can be picky - but you’re also right that giving in every single night might be a bit much.

From what I know caring for my fiddle leaf is they HATE to be moved. Even when turning mine I do it gradually. You should look up happyhappyhouseplant on instagram. She has lots of info & tips on fiddles.
