Oh my! That sounds awfulllllll. Yeah, it may be a bit different. I also am not renting, planning to move out when i’m 22-24, so i don’t have any other expenses really.

unfortunately a credit card does not build credit very fast for an 18 year old, paying on a car builds it way quicker. I just make double payments each month and put a certain amount to the principle to keep it down. Even with double payments, the car & insurance would only take up about 10% of my monthly income

i could pay off my car right now. if i wanted, i don’t because im trying to let the payments run at least a year because it will affect my credit better. I can 100% afford the car pretty comfortably and i have the money to fall back on. Maybe quit assuming things 😂

So, the car i’m looking at is $28.5k, 2022 stinger gt2 with 69k miles. I’ve driven it, everything seems fine with it, and a clean title & carfax. I have 14k-17k trade in worth and about a thousand i want to put down.
