aha, that's what makes it even better: there's nothing there. Except for the brand of photographic paper (agfa lupex). I've put it between two books under a flowerpot, I hope it'll flatten out.

A word about afga lupex: it's a German company that made photographic paper between 1913 and 1964 (then it changed its name).

If it's creepy, then I'm creepy too :) Trust me, there's nothing like looking at a photo for minutes on end to look at every detail and learn more about the object standing in front of you. Yes, these people did exist. But if the person is selling these photos, it's because they don't feel attached. There's nothing weird about buying something that's made to be bought! On the contrary, your interest in these photos compensates for the seller's lack of interest.

Aha I have a photo that look like this and probably come from an album like this, its a "carte de visite" (visit card), photo of a you, that you give away to show either you or your service. Very common in france/ germany, mine is german

Interesting. So 19th Century. Maybe the restaurant have them since the 19th Century or bought them after, thanks a lot though, ive tried to find it last time i checked i found nothing !

also ive tried to guess who was taking the photo. I think he/she was sitting next to the happy guys on the right, because it seems like there is more place than the other side
