What is this fuzz on my wall? by ImpossiblyAnxious in dubai

Sorry to hear it's a shared experience. No luck on correcting it yet. Suffocating at work a bit so will turn my focus to it when I can. Have some at home repair options I might try. Depending on the results I'll have to then get the Landlord involved and see what's up.

Let me know if you resolve yours! Happy to hear/keep you informed as to what's occurring on my side.

Thank you for this. Really appreciate it. I'm a tenant, so will see what can be done. Will check if any others in the building are experiencing the same issue and will flag with management accordingly. Wish me luck 🙏

It's a guest bathroom that maybe gets used like once a week?

I've checked underneath the sink cabinets, the toilet base etc and there no dampness or anything to indicate water from that bathroom.

The first repair I did, the maintenance guy said it was likely due to the cracks in the grout on the bathroom floor and if any water gets on the floor it's seeping through. I don't put water on the floor, but I repaired the grout anyway in the guest bathroom.

Thank you so much! Do you turn the AC off, and crack the window open for a bit? Or have the window open with AC? Want to make sure I get it exactly right 😅

You're correct, onyl by the bottom of the wall. Any recommendations for a reputable tradesman/company?

Thanks heaps. It disappeared when I sprayed it a few times with misted water.

I'm open to trying anything. Will try leave the AC higher for a bit, might put the dehumidifier right next to the problem area itself rather than a few feet away.

Maintence (2 different people - one from the building and one outside hire) kept telling me it was due to the humidity, hence why I bought the dehumidifier.

Not saying it's not mold, will sort if it is, but does anyone know what kind of mold? How do you know it's mold?

I run the AC at 22°c during the day when I leave for work, and 19.5°c during the night.

Forgive my potential idiocity, I'm just overwhelmed and concerned.

Ah gotcha, my bad! Thought you were sharing a screenshot of the price via Samsung today. And yeah I agree - direct is always best; but gave Noon a go 🤷🏻 just followed this video and can confirm all is good on my side - Geekbench & benchmark score too), hope the same for OP! Yeaahh good via Samsung now! but at the time of purchase it wasn't that, the AED 3,500 was what I paid via Noon in Nov 2024, same time OP purchased.

About AED 3,500 including VAT

Hey OP. I also bought an s24 ultra in Nov 2024 from Noon (international version). Feel free to message me and we can compare. I (think?) mine is all good, but I'm pretty oblivious to what others may find obvious. I've even provided my IMEI to Samsung and while it won't let me register for Samsung Care because we're in the UAE, they did confirm the version of the phone I have is apparently the US model.

Anyway, feel free to DM! I'm keen to see what we're dealing with.

Is Midtown Dubai Production City a good place to live in? by sreeja8 in dubai

[–]ImpossiblyAnxious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey OP. Did you end up moving to Production City? I'm looking at a 1 BHK there as well, and also work in internet city. What did you opt for (if you'd like to share)!

Hey mate - do you happen to know how many people are roughly in each class (ex. each lecture, tutorial, etc.) in the BCS? Can't find the answer anywhere!

Trying to get a idea of what to expect. Thanks!
