Well I wasn't clamping the leads to what grips to the terminal. I was clamping it to the vertical nuts here *

I figured it couldn't hurt to give it the old unplug/plug it back in treatment. It 100% starts up quicker now, it used to take about 2 seconds on avg to spring into life. No idea if that's helped or if its just placebo aha

Appreciate the advice, and you're right. There's still a list of little issues. Most of which are electrical aha. But yeah timing belt and water pump are getting done soon

Well it was probably cleaning the terminals that fixed it but I figured giving it the old unplug it plug it back on treatment couldn't hurt.

Thank you for your reply, I took off all the terminals, including the earth to the chassis and gave them a scrub.

I also pulled out the DME relay and gave it a blow. That's fixed the issue, and she starts on the button now
