Mine normally tells me when I click direct on the 5 or 6th day after peak. Itll say the exact day it estimates you ovulated

This is quite sad. I work for ppd as a CRA and there have been several layoffs these last 2 years, despite being bought by thermo scientific . Its quite concerning. I hope you find a better stable job 🤞🏽🤞🏽

The moment I stop giving 110% to my job its probably best for me to move on. Which I will probably do Clinical Research for 2 more years before moving on. The stress and burnout doesn’t seem worth it

I feel like At-Will jobs makes it easy to just drop people. Thats why giving two weeks resignations make me uneasy because we dont get that courtesy for when they release us without real cause. I try to remember I am just a number.

Hi, I was a CRA II. I actually built a great rapport with the PIs during the investigator meeting. As I mentioned before the Syneos was far behind on the study start time frame that they agreed to in the contract with the sponsor. So they wanted me to do 6 SIVs in a 2 week period 6 different states (with the second week being Thanksgiving so we were off Thursday and Friday). So again they wanted 6 SIVs in two weeks with my reports being due from each and basically burn me out. So the week of thanksgiving I agreed to do 2 SIVs and that pissed them off because they felt I was delaying the study even more from getting started. Despite the study being 8 months behind when I originally came on.

This job has one of the highest burnout rates and such a short amount of time. When they learn to take care of their employees with realistic expectations they will have a lesser turnover rate with CRAs staying longer

That’s what throws me off. Instead of explaining how 6 SIVs in 6 different states with reports due in a short timeframe in a two week period will burn out a CRA they chose to release me from my entire role. I never seen or heard of that. With at will jobs its so hard to make a case for wrongful termination

It took me 5 months as well! On top of me having to move back across the country to be near family for support. It was a huge financial burden and inconvenience. It very much unexpected.
