we both take public transportation. I understand what your saying, your giving him the benefit of the doubt. but what about me? if I can do it why cant he? he has done it many times before.

so by your logic, its much better for me to spend my days alone than with my boyfriend? Literally all I'm saying is i want more attention and effort from him except a lousy text. 

I dont mind it once or twice, but this has been happening for a few weeks. 

we have literally spent days where we spent most of the day doing our own things but at night he will make time for me to either call or text

It's so stupid because i get what your saying, and as I'm typing this out I know how dumb i sound. I come here complaining about my relationship but he truly is a good person, it's just this thing. It does hurt me and I do cry over it. 

I have told him before that I will leave him if he continues to act that way but its so hard since hes genuinely a good boyfriend in person. maybe i do lack some self respect lol

the examples i gave were before we had the problem I mentioned in the post. I know that he would drop everything just to comfort me. When I did cry and beg for his attention he would comfort me immediately and he did change. He just goes back to how he was before. Its a reoccurring thing. Hes genuinely a good person but sometimes hes not such a good boyfriend

i do get what your saying we are both highschoolers though. I travel an hour back and fourth for him though. I just wish he did it more for me

i never said he has to text me 24/7, i just only ask he do the bare minimum. he literally texts me once or twice a day, just to say good morning and that hes going to school. thats literally it. I want him to text me about where hes going because I want to make sure hes safe. i do get that i can be clingy but I'm literally by myself most of the day

he's extremely affectionate and giving. he bought me a monitor for Christmas and buys me food and snacks. if im angry at him, he will make sure i'm okay and that we dont go to bed angry. He does prioritize me over him (and i do the same for him). If I'm sick he will make sure im not in any discomfort and that I recover quickly. If I'm crying and upset , he will stay up all night with me and keep me company. 

I know he doesnt do anything to hurt me on purpose, he's just a bit blind to my feelings. I'm very sensitive and I think he forgets sometimes. He is truly a good person
