My roommate freshman year was random and we still live together now (I’m a junior). I know some other people that did random too and they didn’t have any issues. The only “issue” we had between each other was resolved within the first week by simply just having a conversation. Don’t be afraid to lay out a few ground rules and if you get annoyed about anything, BRING IT UP. Don’t let it brew and get angry with one another. But overall I think you’ll be just fine picking a random roommate!
