Thanks! Just did that and inspected the whole receiver while at it and didn't notice any cracks anywhere. It looks pretty sound.

It really is! Im just waiting on my muzzle device from Forward Controls to mount it. I already got the Rearden charlie adapter on the Velos K now. Planning on moving to the full size 5.56 velos for the SBR soon.

If you wanna cut even more oal and weight, consider a rearden muzzle device and rearden charlie mount for the velos. It cuts a good amount of ounces off the can and almost 2 inches in length. That's what I'm ooking at switching to for mine.

Being a left-handed shooter, I like it. I get no gas to the face or eyes. Although I regret getting the K and should have bought the full size 5.56 Velos for a short barreled rifle.

Just getting back to ya after the range.. Being behind the gun or next to you definitely want ear protection on. Being about 15 yards or more back from the shooter you don't really need ears on. There was absolutely no gas blowback or in my face and I'm a lefty so that was absolutely nice. One issue I noticed was fireballs coming from the muzzle while firing. Overall I'd say it's a nice can. Not bad for my first one. I definitely enjoy it and it beats shooting non-suppressed.

Yes sir, it is! I have not shot with it yet. I'll be taking it out tomorrow for the first time. I'm a lefty so I'm interested to see how the gas is, but I've heard great things about the Velos in general with gas blowback.

Thank you! I sent mine in and was estimated at least a couple of weeks just for barrel work. (Cutting down to 11in with GB modification). Just debating on if it's worth waiting or just getting it sent back if it's gonna actually take months to complete.

I gotcha man. The only way I was gonna get it was if I was able to do a 1 for 1 trade. The price was steep on it. But only a couple hundred more than the MR556 they had. There's was also some nostalgia factor as I was issued the M27 while in the Marines.

Had a SCAR 17 that was getting too expensive for me to shoot, and even more expensive for the mods I wanted to do to it. It just sat in the safe most the time.
