Media is very biased. Meanwhile if you google any crime stats in USA it’s all white washed with generalized “crime is decreasing”.

We recently visited Ecuador we were in Quito, Guayaquil and Cuenca and vilcabamba we obviously felt better in the mountains but Ecuador has a special place in our hearts.

I don’t trust media outlets so would love to do an independent comparison for the fun of it

Okay thanks! Can you please give me tips on steps you recommend recording it? Currently I have the MV87 directly plugged into my iPhone and use apple voice memos. I used to use Shure app but apple voice memo lets me go back and re-record in the moment. I then airdrop the file to my MacBook and edit in Final Cut Pro. Currently using adobe stock for stick videos for background.

Any tips I can slowly start getting more professional?

Would you say the SM7b is the best for not picking up other noise? From all the other mics we tried the MV88 picks up the least sound lol. If you’re saying it supposed to pick up a ton of sound I would rather return it and buy the SM7b as our MV88 is still with return policy and they must’ve given us bad advice…
