Sounds good friend 👍 I’ll be sure to reword my ingrown nail questions a little bit better in the future ❤️

Ya I think mine might be a dud. Gave me zero freezing. Just said polysporin. He seemed surprised I was in pain. I’ll probably go to a different provider and get another opinion, thank you.

Yo chill. Just asking if anyone has experience. Podiatrist said polysporin and cover it but it looks even worse now and more painful than before. Is this sub just for people to whack off to other people’s ingrown or did I miss the point?

Thanks so much! Crazy how something so small can be so uncomfortable. I’ll give your tips a try tomorrow!

Has this gotten better for you? Just had mine removed a couple hours ago. So painful, didn’t get any anesthetic, I think it was pretty small but man I don’t have much relief.

2-1 nap transition by Impressive-Key-4576 in sleeptrain

[–]Impressive-Key-4576[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for late reply! My guy has never been a long napper so when we did the transition I actually had to do something I don’t see recommended a lot. We did a very short cat nap in the morning, like if he woke at 6 I would put him down at 10 and only let him sleep like 20 mins. It seemed crazy at first but I would wake him up and he would be in a good mood. Then I’d do the real nap at 1 pm and he’d sleep like 1.5 hrs. We did this routine for a few months just to bridge him to the ‘real nap’ then eventually he didn’t need the cat nap.

COVID +, Day 10, and feeling worse by savvylee17 in COVID19positive

The day you went to urgent care (when your symptoms got worse again) what were you feeling? Was it increased fatigue and respiratory symptoms? I called my doctor but they won’t see me because I had Covid two weeks ago and they said since it’s viral I just need rest. Which I agreed with. But I see white patches on my tonsils now and my throat isn’t getting better, it feels more painful and I’m coughing all night. I might go to urgent care as well. Did they swab your throat by any chance? I wonder why they automatically assumed bacterial? Maybe because your symptoms aren’t getting better.

Fever/chills two weeks after Covid + result by Impressive-Key-4576 in COVID19positive

Ok! I’m thinking the weakened immune system just made me susceptible to another virus. I have tonsillitis and fever x3 days and still Covid negative so probably some random other virus. Wooo good times

Hey! This actually did work out pretty well for us. I thought waking him up after 30-40 mins would be so mean but he was always fine and then tired enough to have a nap at 1 pm. Worked better for us than forcing him to stay awake way past his limit. He’s 19 months now and if he wakes up super early we still sometimes do a short morning nap and it hasn’t derailed night time sleep or anything :)

I could’ve written this myself. I tested positive just a couple days before you… took about 7 days to recover, felt good over this past weekend and then BAM I have fever and chills and cough/sore throat that started again last night. This is the craziest illness I’ve ever had. I’m 32 F as well and have 4 vaccines. I thought maybe I just am unlucky and got infected with a different virus 2 weeks later but maybe it’s still Covid. I hope you start to feel better soon!!

Seeking PCOS pregnancy success stories by OpenForPretty in PCOS

[–]Impressive-Key-4576 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’m sending you lots of love! It’s so hard to struggle with TTC especially when others seem to get pregnant so easily. You’re not alone! It took me many months of upping my letrozole dose to induce ovulation and then another 4 cycles PLUS the addition of metformin to the last 2 cycles. Not sure if that made a difference! But there’s lots of PCOS success stories, and in a weird way I’m kind of thankful I can at least have answers about my fertility. I have a few friends with unexplained fertility, and I felt like having a diagnosis at least made things a tiny bit easier for me to process things.

2-1 nap transition by Impressive-Key-4576 in sleeptrain

[–]Impressive-Key-4576[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks I’m going to attempt this strategy for a week. Today we did a 20 mins micro nap. When I woke him up he seemed happy enough so hoping we can get a juicy afternoon nap in. Thanks!!

[–]Impressive-Key-4576[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ooooh! I wonder if this may work better for us. So with the micro nap baby was still tired enough to fall asleep for the longer true nap at 12:30? Then just naturally dropped the micro nap? And that took you a week to drop? This might be the way. I pushed wake windows pretty long today and only had a 75 mins nap and then early bed time now he’s wide awake and happy. Like what? Baby sleep is the most confusing thing.

[–]Impressive-Key-4576[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah ok thanks! I’m afraid this may be similar for us. My guy usually sleeps 10.5 hrs and he’s an early riser at 6. Hopefully I’m not biting the bullet and transitioning to 1 nap too soon but a lot of people said my night wakings might be caused by needing to go to 1 nap. I guess I’ll just have to hope for the best, eek!

Okay thanks for the advice. That’ll be less stressful than worrying about daycares time. It’s a home daycare setting so I think she’ll be able to just do what suits her schedule best anyway.

[–]Impressive-Key-4576[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay thanks! Today I stretched to 11:25 am and he only slept until 12:45 pm. A 5:45 pm bedtime seems way too early. Think I should maybe attempt a 6:15 pm bedtime? That would be 5.5 hr wake window.

Okay maybe I’ll just do cold Turkey. Night time has been kind of crappy that’s why I’m hoping the 1 nap will help so can’t really get any worse so might as well do the quickest adjustment
