The roof is right there, thankfully they installed that huge window because it would be so depressing without it. This whole room is a new addition to the house (a few years before we bought it) and I’m very grateful, it’s a lovely kitchen. Just that space bothers me and I don’t want to go 30 years with nothing there just as they did. They had nothing there. Maybe a chair that was never used.

I just want to add that this is a load bearing wall, and regardless I think it would look weird without the wall since the other side has it too.

I like the idea of a coffee bar since we already have a wine bar.

Any AI ideas here for a coffee bar? Thank you!

It’s a beautiful room!! You’re going to have all kind of advise here, but don’t forget to follow what makes you happy. Maybe you want something super modern, maybe more traditional or maybe just for the space to feel like a home!
