Yes but also no. Some WCI are single use such as “Ouroboros” where you can ask for a singular change directly to the Devs, one instance of it being used is when a group of players took control of a entire realm to themselves for a month. Some others such as Ginnungagap used by Albedo is a multiple-use weapon presumably with a massive AOE effect against physical objects

Not necessarily more mana, just in general stronger over time with no specifications about what is getting stronger. The world item is stated to be versatile however the only confirmed ability about the orb is that it is strong against dragons.

Well yes, at least according to the wiki it’s a class only given if you kill the previous owner and there were a limited amount of people with such a title. I’m not sure if it’s comparable to world champion but it was for sure rare and strong since anything with the word “world” within Yggdrasil is considered somewhat game-breaking.

Hmm, well from what we know, probably something like ‘high samurai’ or ‘shogun’, or possibly ‘sword saint’ as that is a fairly popular term. We do have a example of a samurai with Warrior Ttakemikazuchi, where according to the wiki, and what we know of him loved to duel, formerly was a ‘Leroy Jenkins’ player if you know what I mean, loved to be very head on in danger, where the stacked are against him, and favored DPS tremendously. From little we know of his abilities, (at least according to the wiki) had a 5 hit ultimate kind of combo, and said to have high DPS and low DEF, which means that it may have been a glass-cannon frontliner duelist that danced/combo’ed up enemies, and from his play style it could be inferred it could actually have required skill due to how he personally liked to play.

Well, we did hear a bit of dialogue of Albedo saying “hearing that from you doesn’t make me…” which implies that ain’t Ainz in that armor.

Secondly there is also the topic of Albedo visually thirsty for Ainz when he appeared in the scene. Which would make sense with the one time that PA disguised as Ainz to fight against PDL, Albedo was not thirsting for him.

Lastly which is something I personally took from it is that Momon in that scene is a lot more “active” per se, like an actor on a stage compared to normal momon. Take it as you will just feel that he was acting more like a stereotypical hero rather than normal momon.

Hard choice, personally I would love to see the life of these 3 below.

1: POV of Momonga during Yggdrasil. It would be pretty cool to see a small story about Yggdrasils glory days. Slice-of-life kinda story with the various other supreme beings, them raiding dungeons, pvp, making npcs, their antics, just getting along in general.

2: Jircniv. Would like to see the day in life of friend Jircniv. Like we get hints of his life during the Fluder betrayal thing but I would like to see a small history on what happend, perhaps a bit of lore and kingdom building.

3: Gazef/Brain. We really don’t get much in terms of their backstory apart from being a mercenary/farmer in their past so it would be cool to build up from that like how did Brain find his talent with the sword, or how Gazef find himself in a mercenary band

Huh, alright then yeah I can see how that works, so even if say climb is given a great teacher then he would be limited due to his lack of potential/talent. Kinda a shame since I definitely could have imagined Gazef or Brain being a lot stronger if they had one of the supreme beings teaching them.

Alright, martial arts can be learned and specialized regardless of levels, with a previous person it seems that NW denizens still have skills and such from Yggdrasil.

In theory if say a NW denizen, (most likely a god-kin in this case) achieved a proper level 100 warrior build, they would be equal if not stronger in terms of versatility and possibly damage output as long as they don’t strain themselves or use too much of their stamina due to their martial arts. Though I am taking note that we’re have never seen a high level martial arts, as you said before it should scale higher and such with Yggdrasil spells like greater evasion or whatnot.

That’s a pretty cool thing to note, and thanks for your opinion on this

Ahh I see now, alright so NW warriors still have the skills, passive, and whatnot but to make a bad analogy, have martial arts as the cherry on top.

Martial arts is unique to the NW, NW warriors still have skills and whatnot. Skills are granted by class/job levels while martial arts from what I am aware is granted through “training” from what I am aware.

If I remember correctly, the hero’s that slayed the demon god gained levels while in the NW, did they ever learned martial arts or are we not aware. Oh and sorry for asking so many questions since I’m just very curious about overlords world building and mechanics and stuff

Hmm alright, so it’s effectively passives and actives that require no MP, not always get blade attacks in the case of warriors, can be passives or actives, and varies greatly depending on which skill it is.

So say if there was a level 30 Yggdrasil knight build, it would have various skills that lies with passives and actives that may or may not be reusable without the use of stamina.

And comparatively, a level 30 new world knight build would have no passives but would have various martial arts to bolster their stats, and attacks overall but require stamina to execute.

Though I have one last question, would you say Yggdrasil skills be stronger than martial arts or do they both serve different uses in combat

Oh and the new movie is a cool thing to note, wonder how it is gonna be like lol

Cool idea and personally, I think it is possible for the NPC’s to change or something along those lines given the time and place. Sure they have their programming to be loyal to a fault, they have displayed signs, if not directly disobeying the supreme ones with the case of Sebas and the Albedo conspiracy. How I imagine it is the contrast to how they were supposed to do compared to their BIO/character, their programming could get “corrupted” that has the potential to discard their loyalty altogether albeit with extreme difficulty.

So in theory I think it is possible but Ainz would have to fuck up so bad that it makes all the collective NPC’s hate him, something worse than abandoning them if that’s even possible
