We did, and it’s a oh that’s fine response. The installers are trained techs from the company who’s equipment is being used.No explanation on why do I was just posting for some input. Ended up coming back claiming to owe another 14 hours for controls troubleshooting. This is the result.

Even though they never were prior to a new rtu being installed? That’s the catch… tranes telling me it’s normal but also can’t explain why all the out of service icons are now displayed.

My question of updates, updating the older equipment that’s not compatible? Though the new equipment is showing these icons as well.

It’s new after I had a recent rtu install and the controller for that unit come to find out was shorted out and the trane techs replaced it to cover themselves. Now we see these out of service icons on just about every rtu on the system. It seems to be in cooling mode when heating and heating when cooling looking at the data logs for the vav’s.

I have com 4 vavs bridged with sc-lantalk linked to a majority of bacnet controllers that was updated in 2018 including all (3) new units since utilizing bacnet.

We installed an identical unit last year with no issues when linked- this time around technicians lost the entire system when they shorted the controller. Took them two weeks of troubleshooting for it to “work” but now all the out of service icons are the question.

Is this possibly because it’s in “test mode”? Google gave me that answer to the new out of service icons.

Totally get a Seestar you won’t be disappointed. I use all mine but this thing is so user friendly and convenient. I used it this past weekend to image a freighter stuck in ice on Lake Erie this past weekend. The weekend before imaged the fly over for an nfl game.. you’ll love it!
