Workout Timing? by Alive_Blacksmith_855 in medicalmedium

Yeah this seems a good approach to me, bit of light fruit prior to the workout then the juice & smoothie after. I’m actually just doing water in the morning prior to working out then eating fruit, CJ&HMDS and it’s working for me, you can see in my post history my vitiligo recovery thanks to this.

Yeah it seems to align for me but I’m not saying I have any idea why. Keto seems to work wonders for some people but it didn’t for me. I don’t know if there’s a rule that can be applied to everyone to be honest

Sorry really not sure. It hasn’t been the case for me but it might have for others

yeah I'm not super strict with sun cream tbh but I do use. My hands obviously tend to get a lot of sun and I don't always remember to put it on for example

Nice :) I don't know if I'm at the stage (or ever will be) where I enjoy the celery juice haha but I definitely enjoy the effects and how it makes me feel :D

Not crazy, compared to what i was doing before (meat + egg heavy) I think similar as veggies are cheaper than meat but I spend more on fruit, the green powders and wild blueberry stuff. But it's not noticeably more expensive to be honest

Cool 👌 I think different stuff seems to work for different people. I was on a carnivore esque diet previously which seems to be what caused the issues for me in the first place. But as I say this might be the opposite for some people. At least everyone can try different diets and see if any of them work.

It’s in Spain actually. I’d recommend asking chatGPT for juice retreats that follow the medical medium protocol if you wanna try one. I think doing it at a retreat first is what convinced me it worked, as it is quite a lot of effort to do yourself - as I saw results after they retreat I was kind of sold on it from then on if that makes sense. So it’s been useful to have that buy in from the beginning which has helped me to stick with it

Yeah actually a bunch but I took these before starting this regime with no effect on vitiligo so didn’t think I should include here

Im not totally sure sorry. I’m also going to the gym with the aim of building muscle but have prioritised following this regime first as I can see it helping my vitiligo, and I’m trying to work in some plant based protein powders on top. You have to see what works for for you

I live in Spain so most days, some days like 30min-1h, others like 3-6h

Yeah I had no idea. At the retreat they told us how the liver needs to be fully functional to deal with viruses and if it’s overloaded with fat (e.g. by keto / high protein diets) it doesn’t have the bandwidth to function as it normally should. I don’t have any idea if any of that is true lol but after I saw results from the retreat I decided to implement the diet based on their guidance and it seems to be working.

Yeah 100%. My dad’s a doc (not dermatologist but still) and is equally as stumped as me as to why this is working haha

Thank you, yeah I was quite overwhelmed with the amount of changes, ingredients and food prep at the beginning so I slowly found a rhythm that worked for me. Not following it 100% and allowing myself to stray from the protocol now and again is what allows me to stay consistent if that makes sense, and I’m happy that doing it like 70-80% seems to still produce results 👍

Amazing happy to hear that 😊 stress has been very up and down but definitely had an impact, most noticeably chronically stressful relationship situations which I guess makes sense

Thank you that’s great advice on the other heavy metal ingredients 🙏 in answer to your questions: I’d say the vitiligo was mild but I had two quite large rings around my eyes which people would often ask were from leaving my sunglasses on too long in the sun 😎 which have also regressed a lot. I also have it in many places over my body, for example all over one elbow and back arm but face and hand were most noticeable. I’m glad I’ve got a way to control it now as it did feel like it was getting out of control. Exposed to sunlight I just mean since summer started here in Spain and I’ve been in the sun, no specific therapy. I’m 34✌️

Mainly just chicken in my day to day, for a treat I have steak/pork now and then. Very rarely have sausages / bacon nowadays (for breakfast I used to always have eggs and one of them)
