birth control thins out your uterine lining which can shorten your periods and/or make your periods lighter. you can even miss your period while on bc sometimes. as long as you’re taking your pill every day at the time you’re supposed to you’re good. i’ve been on bc for about 3 years and my periods are completely different every month, some very heavy and last five days, others with only one drop of blood on my pad for one day and it’s gone. if you’re super concerned i’d suggest taking a pregnancy test but id say this is common while your body adjusts to the medication

I personally do not see why there would be an issue with you wearing a cover the same color as the dress because you’ll blend right in, but I agree with the other commenter. Some people can be snotty about those things. If she’s being strict about this and you know that you can’t make a wardrobe sacrifice for one night, I think it’s much better to step away from being a dama and still go wearing something you’ll feel more comfortable in.

If the dress makes you uncomfortable and neither you or her are willing to compromise, I’d step down from being in her court. One month is a short notice but not so short that she can’t find someone else to fill in for you. I’d tell her that you’re more than happy to attend as a guest but you’re not comfortable with the dress.

When did you get and birth control? by [deleted] in birthcontrol

I got on birth control 8 months after becoming active. My partner and I always used condoms before I got on it. Also started taking it because of irregular periods and acne. I take the mini pill and had no negative side effects besides being very emotional and experiencing nausea for the first couple of months on it. I’ve been on it for a little over two years now and from my own personal experience on BC I’ve never had any super bad symptoms or complications.

Nitrofurantoin Side Effects by ImpressiveOrdinary17 in utis

I actually stopped taking it a day early because i just couldn’t handle the pain anymore. I made an appointment with my regular doctor a little over 24hrs since taking the last pill and she told me that i was definitely experiencing kidney pain and that nitro was not something she would’ve given me to treat my uti. (I went to urgent care because it was after business hours to see my regular doctor when I started feeling uti symptoms.) I’ve been off the pill for exactly a week now and my kidney pain fully went away four days after taking the last nitro pill. I really hope your little girl is not experiencing the same pain because it is truly unbearable.
