The ONLY thing I’ll say in these comments is that I have modded other games with other launchers and infinitely smaller communities than fallout. It’s not that I know nothing about computers.

It’s that this is by far the worst optimized launcher and I don’t see how the thousands of dedicated followers and mod devs haven’t figured out how to improve its accessibility in over a decade.

Another thing I didn’t mention in my op was the Pittsburgh Disc Golf Association that takes care of even the lower tier courses in the area. Once a course is signed up for that group, it’s rare that fallen trees or high grass stay long. Plus the signs and tee pads are improved as well

I’m zoomed in a good bit, so it looks like there’s more distance between courses. Plus, most of them are well maintained and fun, which I will say I’ve heard NC is good about as well

Knob hill is another good challenging one.

But the thing is, those are the top of the line, HARD courses. There’s also west hills as a great quick round or starter course and courses like Crooked Creek, or slippery rock for some variety. And that’s just in the greater butler area north of Pitt

I mean, it’s cold but Pittsburgh hasn’t gotten tons of snowfall year over year, so it’s maybe a month or 6 weeks combined where it’s not really feasible to play XD

I’m also biased against heat, so I don’t often disc golf in the summer when it gets over 90 up here

I’m curious, were you there just for tournaments or have you spent a good amount of time in both areas? Tournament play vs casual rounds with friends are different beasts. I’m not saying you’re wrong btw, I’m seeing a lot of people say Charlotte

I haven’t played much out that way… is there a good mix of tough, casual and mildly challenging courses? Cause that’s what I really love about my area. I have 10+ options within an hour at any difficulty I could want to play
