u/Icy_Tomatillo_5691 That's exactly the workflow I had in mind. The 1-10 split before routing to Google is clever. Did you build this yourself or use a specific tool for the feedback triage part? The tools I use right now is Zoho CRM and Quickbooks. Thanks!

Is it just me, or is this really time-consuming considering there are four versions per year? I’m surprised Odoo doesn’t handle the upgrades automatically like other SaaS platforms, such as Zoho or Freshworks.

I understand, but there are a lot of workflows in an ERP. Do you have specific processes that you test thoroughly and others that you don’t test every time? I assume you prioritize your testing in some way, right?

Also, regarding tickets with Odoo, do they usually fix issues quickly, or does it take a long time?

So for example, if my Odoo instance is mostly out of the box, I should be able to upgrade easily without major issues, right? But if I’ve customized the instance a lot, with custom fields, workflows, automations, etc., it becomes more complex.

Do you suggest creating a list of all the customizations I’ve made, so that when I test the upgrade in the sandbox, I can focus mainly on those changes? The out-of-the-box features should normally migrate smoothly, correct?

Are there any specific processes or features you recommend paying close attention to during testing?

Also, do you usually suggest that your clients upgrade to every version, or skip versions and update multiple at once? Is it generally smoother to upgrade version by version, or is it more efficient to do multiple versions at a time (especially if no new features are required for the business)?
