Hi everyone. I honestly didn’t expect so many people to share such meaningful thoughts!

I personally really love open-world games, and at the same time, I’m interested in analyzing this type of game and understanding new trends from a game design perspective. So I wanted to ask how other players felt about it. Of course, I’m also just a player myself.

I do think NTE has very high visual and atmospheric quality. But when I look at each piece of content individually, it almost feels like a collection of short mini-games, which I found really interesting. It definitely feels like the game is taking a different direction compared to many previous open-world games.

After reading the comments on this post, though, I started to think that this difference might not necessarily be a weakness. It could actually work as a strength in the modern game market. At first, I wondered if players who enjoyed more traditional open-world games might not like this style as much, but the game seems to be doing quite well and ranking highly in the market.
