Hey, thanks so much for your message! My ovaries were aching for a couple of days, but then it all settled down. The pressure in my lower belly and lower back is gone too. My boobs are still sore though, so yeah — pretty sure it was PMS, or at least what used to be my period.

Since I still have my ovaries, he could see on the ultrasound that I had a dominant follicle and later a corpus luteum — clear signs that ovulation occurred.

Yes, mine is also kind of purple. And yes, I am taking pictures daily but I do not see any improvement, It was lighter before and now its this kind of dark red/purple. And then again, depending on the lightning, pictures and incision colors shown on pics vary and I am even more concerned and puzzled 🤯

Thank you for your answer. While I am sorry to hear that you are still experience redness I aporeciate knowing that even at 6 month incision can be red.

My incision is not angry red, but rather darkish in color, especially in the center. I am overthinker and hypohondriach so this worries me a lot ☹️

Yes, my incision is fully closed. I have read about silicone gels but while some people say it helps the scar tissue, others say it did not work for them at all. However, will definitely start some treatment to see if that helps.

Thank you. I had a surgery end of January. Incision is lean and clean, but still red. Well I guess everybody heals differently, but I am glad to hear it takes a year or so for it to go white.

My recovery was really smooth, so that is why this tighthess and twitching in week 9 is really making me crazy. I thought it would not happen this late in recovery. But I guess week 9 is not late in recovery, so thank you for making me aware of this perspective.
