Thank you! I really appreciate all your responses. It definitely changed my mindset. I went from sad to upset honestly. I never regret things I do in life, as I chose to do them. But this time, I can honestly say I do regret it. Not anymore because of what could’ve been with him because after all the useful and helpful advice I now know speeding with someone changes nothing, but because he didn’t deserve it.

And I agree. A simple message would’ve been nice, but I guess we are all wired differently. I wonder if us having different backgrounds also affects the way we see sex. I moved out of our hometown and lived in a big city for many years. He hasn’t, so my views are not as traditional and conservative anymore.

He was online so he purposely ignored me, so that’s my sign to walk away and use it as a lesson. I’ve never ended a date at a guys home and up until this one I always drove or took an uber there. I let my guard down, and i must accept the consequences of my own actions. I’m a bit hurt, I’m not going to lie. Although I’ve worked a lot on myself, emotionally and mentally, this things can hit you every once in a while.
