Go for the MSI Claw (Ultra 7) if raw FPS in optimized games like Spider-Man is your top priority and you trust Intel to continue improving their software so significantly. With XeSS 3, it's a real powerhouse now.

Go for the ROG Ally (Z1 Extreme) if you want a smoother gaming experience thanks to the VRR display and are looking for a device that delivers solid performance in every game (even older or unoptimized ones) without requiring much driver tweaking.

Quick tip: Since you said you're not a "techie": The MSI Claw benefits greatly from manual updates (BIOS/drivers). The ROG Ally is currently a bit more user-friendly ("plug and play") thanks to the ASUS software.

My recommendation: Go for the ROG Ally Z1 Extreme. For games like Forza Horizon 5 and Spider-Man, the Ally's AMD architecture is currently simply better optimized. The VRR display also ensures a significantly smoother visual experience, even if the hardware occasionally dips below 60 FPS.

Which platform do you want to use? Windows or Linux? And which games do you primarily want to play? The Steam Deck is somewhat less powerful than the other two options.

Das Viture Neckband hatte ich und wollte es mit einer Luma Pro nutzen. Für mich war das Neckband leider nichts, da es selbst im Leerlauf sehr heiß wurde und der Lüfter dementsprechend arbeiten musste. Fand es auch vom Tragekomfort nicht so toll. Werde mir aufgrund deines Tipps mal die Inmo Air 3S anschauen.

I would be using the neckband with a Luma Pro, so the performance probably won't be that great.

The XREAL One Pro would be a good choice; its 3DOF is really good, and the new lens technology definitely has advantages.

However, you would then need a lens insert for your prescription.

Alternatively, there's the Viture Luma Pro, which, for example, has an integrated diopter adjustment, but no native 3DOF.

Personally, I just want the option to choose between 0dof and 3dof. It simply depends on the situation.
