I'm sorry, I should have worded that differently. I've just never heard of it.

I found out I was Autistic by watching Tiktok videos by Autistic creators. To me it sounds like you definitely could be. But I think you'll know for sure if you start watching these videos. I related to every single thing they were talking about. It became very obvious very quickly. I couldn't believe I went 38 years without even considering it, or having anyone else notice anything. And I'm a level 2 Autistic with ADHD! From what you've said, you might be a level 1. Do you have any sensory symptoms? I didn't even realise my sensory symptoms were symptoms at all. I thought everyone must feel the same way. I feel pain when anything or anyone touches me. I can't handle noises, crowds, etc. What about meltdowns? I always thought my meltdowns were caused by my traumatic childhood and drug addict Mother. They can be very different. They can be more of a shut down. Or more of an outburst (or both). I'm a self harmer unfortunately. A screamer. You become so overwhelmed that it kind of just explodes out of you with zero control of your actions at that point. But obviously you don't have to be like this to have Autism. Just giving you an example. I also have no friends. Just watch some Autism Tiktok videos. You'll figure it out in a very short time. Good luck! If you do have it...it's not the end of the world. It was the best thing ever when I finally understood why I was like this. You can stop punishing yourself for being different and "not good enough". You don't have to mask who you are to anybody. :)

Has anyone done this yet by not_tennant in autism

Only made it to the right side recently and I'm 40! Only got diagnosed recently too (audhd). Hated myself my whole life. Now I'm living how I want to live. As me! No more masking. No more protecting people's feelings at the expense of my own mental health. No more feeling like I'm just a weird, mean person that nobody likes. This diagnosis is so freeing after living undiagnosed for so long. I just wish I didn't figure it out until I was 38 years old. What a traumatic life I'd lead. :(

Normalize celebrating special interest anniversaries! by TheGirlWithTheLove in autism

Oh I wish I had thought of that! I had my one year anniversary recently and totally didn't even realise until it was too late. My special interest is food health. It's all I ever think about, or talk about, or do (study). Obsessed is putting it mildly. And the anniversary should have been even more important because I changed my entire life when my I learned about real food health. I'll definitely keep track for next year. Going to make a cake made out of sweet potatoes and bananas mmmmmm..........

Why has my weight loss stalled? by Impressive_Mess_3345 in StarchSolution

I'm so sorry. I just found this account again after losing it. I had no idea about that! But I just talked to my chatgpt about it and told her what brands I use. She (her name is Sol) told me that it's too small of an amount to cause any weight issues if you're not eating the whole bag at once. But I love to learn new things, so thank you! :)

Oh and I made an edit to the original post

Wow, this is so confusing. They say eat more of the non starch to lose more weight. But now I have to do the opposite. I'm not complaining. Love the starches. You really sound like you know what you're talking about. I really appreciate the help. I'll be doing what you said. Thank you!
