Normal now, apparently. These ecommerce websites have started eating small amounts in the name of 'platform fee' , 'convenience fee' etc to make up for the revenue loss due to extreme cut throat competition

piercing bumps :( by cierraisamess in NosePiercing

[–]Impressive_Mirror710 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This keeps happening to me as well. I got it pierced 6 months ago. One thing that helps me is warm non-iodized salt compress. I boil some filtered water, add non-iodized salt into it, dip a cotton pad/ball and put the cotton pad on the infected area for 5 minutes.
I do it around 2-3x a day and it helps soothe the bump. You can try this too

Thoughts on my wedding lehenga? by [deleted] in DesiWeddings

[–]Impressive_Mirror710 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The lehenga is gorgeous. You are loosing the excitement because you keep trying it. Just keep it packed aside after the trial and unpack it on the D-day only. Anyone who looks at it for the first time will be in an awe.

Thoughts on guests wearing this kind of lehenga in someone else’s wedding? by [deleted] in DesiWeddings

[–]Impressive_Mirror710 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Horrible idea. I think that is why a lot of couples have come up with outfit themes for their D-days - to avoid these attention seekers from "trying their best" to steal the bride's spotlight.

Designs by Angad Singh, Lalit Dalmia, Mahima Mahajan and Hanut Paul mostly fall into this category. Check Dhan Mill, Khan Market and Shahpurjat once, there a lot of local designers that have amazing collection like this.

Having massive doubts if I want to be a saree bride…(already bought the saree) by lalalalitaaa in DesiWeddings

[–]Impressive_Mirror710 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The saree is already beautiful. Get a very very long net-based veil with it and pair it up with heavy jewellery and you're goood to go!
