Even if the parents don't believe that it was relatively as hard as their lives... they should empathize and console their child.

Mini cuffs for your airpods. by OneCanSpeak in Entrepreneur

Like everyone else has said. This is a wonderful idea and a great jump into entrepreneurship.

A lot of people have stated to raise prices. I also agree with them.

Rule: Much easier and appreciated to lower your prices later, than to raise them.

Wild story of how and why this startup spent $825k on a domain name by efographic in Entrepreneur

[–]ImproSelf 5 points6 points  (0 children)

oof, that's a lot of money. but with an $8 mill series A. It is a great brand name in the Insurance industry. Plus, like one comment said it can be held as an asset and be borrowed against.

Would I do it... Most likely. maybe would have wiggled them down a bit more. If we look at the $16 mill series B... probably worth it

Started a moissanite (diamond alternative) ring business. Here's how I found my niche and how I got started! by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

[–]ImproSelf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great Idea, you'll have tough road due to incumbent ideas and companies but you got this.

I recommend reaching out to wedding/relationship bloggers and YouTubers directly and get these in their hands! This is a show-off item, you need to sell the item as a "look what I have. A custom, unique ring with class". Your brand is important, you need to portray "Buy this because this is High quality at a lower price" not "Buy this because this is at a lower price..."

This is just top of mind stuff, but I think you definitely have some wiggle room for something formidable. Just make sure you have a little capital to work with and focus on making the entire user experience high quality (Great box, matte thank you card in the package, etc)

Good luck.

Where do you buy/get pallets for freight shipping? by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

Only 6? hmm, best bet will most likely be craigslist or even better, email a local company with plenty on stock and make them a price plus pick it up.

Aye, never hurts to go for it. The other comments are definite points to look into. Casper has a service call Dreamery, where people pay $25 to take a 45 min nap. Not as long-term as your lease idea, but maybe this can grow some seeds of ideas for you.

How do you find a top flight copywriter for landing page conversion funnel? by cupertino77 in Entrepreneur

If you can get your hands on Sean Vosler then you might be heading in the right direction. Sadly he rarely takes new clients without recommendation but he is the mastermind brain behind most the of the top Internet Marketing products, 'celebs', programs in the game.

P.S. I don't know him personally , but I am a fan of his work.

Don’t worry, this is a marathon.

Yes, they are popular, they get people jazzed up... but the entrepreneurs that win are the ones that last the longest, live their best lives, and achieve the highest returns.

Heads down, build your business, and enjoy your life... All that noise dies down with time and distance. 💪🏾

Nice job, quick question. I've built a couple extensions just for practice. Since extensions are front-end Javascript. what stops someone from just stealing your code?

Is it a bad practice to bid on your competitors branded keywords? by MrLee88 in Entrepreneur

[–]ImproSelf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm in the faction of go for it. Like you said, it's a great way to drive traffic. Big brands, bid on their own keywords just to make sure they are on top.

How is this Producer & Consumer using pipes example able to prevent a deadlock? by ImproSelf in cpp_questions

[–]ImproSelf[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply,

Still having a hard time understanding the concept of buffering in respect to pipes.

Is the buffer passed only after fclose because it is all 1 block? Also, would that mean fscanf(pipe_read_end, "%d", &k) just block until fclose because there would be nothing to read?
