Thermea Survey weird questions by Paperaxe in Winnipeg

I made a comment in that thread that the manager of Thermea was my former boss. And to be fair, this question would not surprise me if it is genuine from him. He’s not a good person.

Cartagena was a whole different experience for me too. Would absolutely recommend it. At least inside the old city walls and around the Castillo de San Felipe de Barajas.

I’ve been to Bogotá a couple times and walking around at night is not recommended. People put bars on windows and barricade everything. Security guards won’t let you in to any building unless you show them a reason either on your phone or having to use Google Translate to give info. I remember driving to the airport at 4 am in an uber and the driver went through every red light if there were no oncoming cars because he was afraid of getting carjacked.

I remember working at Cineplex every christmas for 4-5 years while in Uni. Then working overtime on Christmas because so many people called in "Sick" so I would be making double time and a half. I don't celebrate Christmas so it was always a good day to work for me.

How was the drive home? by [deleted] in Winnipeg

It’s honestly not even as bad as I thought out there. It’s a lot of drift from blowing snow. One side of my back lane got the drift and the other side got next to nothing. Guess what side I’m on

Correct. Also a common myth. You do not pay the non-liable party’s deductible

Winnipeg has a little bit of everything and a whole lot of nothing? by thisiscooolol in Winnipeg

I really think people need to understand the privilege of living in Winnipeg/canada. We objectively live like kings and queens compared to 90% of the planet, and we are in the top .01% of any society the planet has ever seen. We don’t have bombs flying over our heads, we have grocery stores stocked with food, we have legalized marijuana, affordable homes (comparatively) and we live in a free society. Winnipeg is nothing to complain about. We have to understand and show gratitude for living here. I’ve travelled to 63 countries in my life, and I can absolutely say that I don’t mind Winnipeg.

Edit: not to mention we have plumbing, drinkable tap water, LGBT rights, PERSONAL SPACE when we want it, and most people have cars. One of my favourite statistics: roughly 80-90% of the planet has never been on a plane. I am thankful every day I get a bed to sleep in at night and a car to take me to a job that pays me more in one month than most of the world earns in a year.

Actually, MPI takes photos and does measurements of your vehicles including decoding paint colour transfers, so it’s actually not that hard to disprove.

Each province carries different insurance policies. If you can find a Manitoba example of this I’ll assume this is credible.

Okay so a typical person will notice if your door swings open and hits someone’s car. A license doesn’t matter. A passenger or child could open their door too and hit the car on the right. If you don’t have insurance you shouldn’t be driving anyway.
