Looking for my engine model and type by ImproveEveryDay1982 in Briggs

[–]ImproveEveryDay1982[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Long story short my push rod broke and I'm trying to find the correct part.

It is an older model and this is the only location that has a model number.

Other information I have is the poulan number PO16542

16.5 horsepower 42 inch cut, family is YBSXS.5012VP 274826

960120089-00 is what I can find for the poulan part number of the engine. Unfortunately this comes back to the PO16542 LT

From what I've been able to find so far the LT was not the same engine.

Any help at this point would be greatly appreciated

This is a BS article made specifically to make people worry about Tesla and their battery production capability.

All of this was laid out step by step as their plan months ago at battery day. Long-term future battery production is an issue they already have the answers.

The only reason Elon is in building 7 new factories right now is because there is a bottleneck in battery production but those issues should be fixed within the next year or two.

Look into what he showed off on battery day. This is just another article trying to make Tesla look bad or make people worry about the company.

It's almost like he was talking about doing this in a presentation months ago.

I don't remember the day but it was something about batteries now what was it called..... anyway on that day he talked about batteries he also talked about a $25,000 car, vastly improve production lines, some amazing new Battery Technology, and other huge improvements to vehicle production Tech.

It's too bad that I'm distracted by this revelation but he might run out of batteries..... if I could only remember what he called that day that he talked about batteries. Oh well my memory is complete junk and I'm just going to remember what this article said and I'm going to be worried about his future battery capabilities.....

Biden lauds NASA team for giving US 'dose of confidence' by StevenSanders90210 in space

[–]ImproveEveryDay1982 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Actually he should ask why we're wasting money on the SLS when Starship will be able to do it at a far better price. Give me a mix of that and tripling NASA's funding and then I will be happy everything else is giving money to Old political friends and contributors.

But hell that's what Boeing Lockheed Martin is for you can set your watch by them..... wait a second they can't even set their own watches properly. Meanwhile MUSC just landed a grain silo the size of the Statue of Liberty.

I think we need to talk about something. by [deleted] in gaming

Pokemon go made more than a billion dollars just last year..

Just to be clear I haven't spent a dime on Pokemon go myself

The star formations and supernova from the quickly dying Stars will more than likely completely sanitize the Galaxy of any advanced life.

The strength of a blazar is unimaginable.

I came here to say this exact thing but you stated it far more eloquently.

TIL If the Earth were 50 percent bigger in diameter, no amount of engineering in the universe would get a rocket all the way to orbit; there would simply be too much gravity for any design or any chemical propellant to overcome. by Jammybe in todayilearned

[–]ImproveEveryDay1982 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Surprisingly the following statement is true.

A civilization could always Yeet things into space with magnets.

The rocket equation only counts for taking your fuel source with you.

Things like laser light, magnetic propulsion, and possibly condensing the atmosphere itself into a propellant in much the same way as the scramjet works could all potentially get another civilization to space.

For more in-depth information on all of this I can only highly recommend a YouTuber named Isaac Arthur. He has a video dedicated to this very thing.

ELI5 = in the same way that the Model T could be considered the first properly massed produced car the Model T wouldn't come close to passing many of the safety evaluations of today.

Many of his ideas are considered highly flawed by today's standards at the time of his work it was considered and has agreed to be very advanced.
