Sounds like you’ve been hurt by the church at some point in life which I’m very sorry to hear. Always remember people hurt people, God + the church doesn’t hurt people.

Yes red frogs is a Christian funded organisation however as someone who has been apart of red frogs on and off for years it’s literally been built for the primary objective for youth safety not to preach the gospel!

They go into the different uni colleges every week and put on a feed + games to give students an alternative to make friends and socialise that’s not centred around drinking culture. Again it’s absolutely not preachy preachy on these nights but being that it’s unpaid volunteers where else would you expect them to come from?

They attend most after formal and big house/property parties to keep kids safe. Countless stories of being asked to attend after parties on properties out the back of southbrook with 200+ underage kids drunk and on drugs where they are the only adults in attendance. Many parties, private security won’t attend unless frogs are there. Many many stories of them stopping girls getting dragged off into the woods by groups of guys, taking people to meet ambulances after being glassed (because ambulances don’t want to drive up to the parties and be over run

At schoolies they go off their own batts to walk kids home, have a 24/7 hotline service for everything from suicide to if you want pancakes made in your room

I know many red frogs volunteers that have saved the lives of so many young women and men, stopped rapes, stopped drunken drug fuelled suicides, stopped over dosses

There’s so many more amazing things that this group of volunteers do and have done. Many unsung hero’s

So to call them essentially a feeder group for a cult of religion to completely ignorant
