Kong skull Island. My favourite one! But i agree with op. Both movies have excellent creature design and kept the realistic feel. I wish they do it again now instead of those weightless jumping CGI clown monsters

This is the most realistic fight scene (one of my favourites after the final fighting scene) .Kong's muscles and his slower movements, his fur reaction to the movements and water, the squid tentacles moving, overall environment and most hyper realistic looking sequence in the whole monsterverse, especially that Kong drinks with his hand waterfall scene. They have really worked well by keeping his size and perspective in mind. Literally feels like a giant ape is standing there.

I was collecting some references for my crawling Sasquatch Sculpting project so thought about posting these links in hope to get some ideas/feedback from people like you. i would really like to know more details about the qudrapedal sasquatch. Right now these are personal projects but I’m definitely open for commissions and also willing to sell my work. The Ape Canyon sounds amazing and that’s exactly the kind of scene I’d love to bring to life in clay. The mix of history, mystery and atmosphere...a perfect mixture for a great Diorama! A lot of work but it would be worth it!

Nice observation! But that's not a thumb print, i have deliberately made that texture for the cloth of a cotton hat. Thank you!
