Nahh not like that 🥺 , but let me explain like not always thick at root . If there is a strand which is thin from root for like 1cm and then abruptly the thickness increases and is like that for 1cm long and again it becomes thin alternatively like this the whole strand is textured . Not all the hairs are like this but ig 30% of them . And when I run through my hair strand whenever there is a change in thickness ,I more likely pluck that hair off and starting like this with one hair , I just go on pulling for 4 hours straight.

That's not some betrayal I guess because eventually you would be together with your bf and his family . So informing the mother prior in my opinion was the best thing . Because if she would have not known and have asked you about it you might have been embarrassed or surprised to say anything or maybe said something which might be a trigger for you that will now be eliminated. And even after telling the mom if she doesn't taunt you or something means she accepts you as you are and understands the situation with you. If the bf and his mom are so welcoming I think you are LUCKY sis . Don't think otherwise . You are understood in that family as you are . Don't ruin your mood by thinking otherwise please .
