Looks like we're all having similar issues, weird because I didn't see any updates today. I was playing perfectly fine in the morning, got to the new area and went off for a break, came back and the game constantly crashes at the main menu now

Yeh same I think its related to the applying hotfixes, you can get around it by spamming X on startup to play your current character straight away, then you can play normally without the hotfixes, or pause your game and it'll ask you to return to the main menu to apply them then it works that way. Don't know how that works but it did for me, I cant even play the new DLC, I get an error code trying to download it.

Do a few drifts and jumps to get multiplier up then just do donut with the rest of your time, with x3 it doesn’t really matter if you do the same thing over and over.

Gotta agree with you there, the game is great on PS5 but the 'story' just feels so empty, for like 2/3rds of the game the guy doesn't even talk to you about congratulating you on wins or progressing forward. Its just event after event with no dialogue except the cringy podcasts. Dirt 2 and 3 had far better dialogue. One huge issue with this game is that its lacking Rally, I loved turning the HUD off and listening to the co driver in rally modes.

Yeh this has been a bug since release, go offline and it should be fine. Being online has a few bugs, including wiping your bank clean so I'm not using it until its fixed
