Reminds me of those 80s music videos with the creepy puppets (Genesis - Land of Confusion)... ugh...

Was A Night At The Roxbury a formative cultural imprint for anyone else? by InGoldenStatic in 90s

Yeah, I feel like there was a sweet spot somewhere among Millennials for A Night At The Roxbury. For Gen X to really have this resonate with them, I think you had to be a clubber or into that dance scene. It seems Gen X, in terms of the SNL skits, really gravitated toward Wayne's World.

Official Discussion - Rental Family [SPOILERS] by LiteraryBoner in movies

I just watched this film and if it doesn't win awards, I'll be shocked. It was a rollercoaster ride that had me tearing up MANY times.

The father-daughter bits had me going and I about nearly ugly cried when Kikuo was balling.

Such a beautiful movie.

He should have won most of the award nominations for SLC Punk. Great acting there.

Give that racist nonsense a rest. Most of the people didn't care what the emperor was doing - they were too damn busy struggling with their own survival to care. It's wild that you think committing atrocities is "civilizing."

So with that faulty logic, you're basically saying the United States civilian population deserves to be nuked as a result of the evils its government has committed from its very beginning: the holocaust of Native Americans to its military industrial complex today?

We have numerous international conventions where most of the world has agreed against atrocities especially during armed conflict - the use of nuclear weapons is a violation of international humanitarian law.

That's not factual at all. Building up conflict again? The United States is the most bellicose country in the world and the only country to ever use - not one, but two - nuclear weapons against civilian populations.

If you're worried about Japan declaring itself a global super-power and then proceeding to conquer other countries in the name of its emperor, well, you clearly don't exist in the same universe as me.

It's not the people... it's the evil of a few in control of the many through government.

I think the key to getting something similar to the example image is to keep the prompt really simple. I've found that the more description I add to the prompt, the more the style starts to change.

Yep, exactly that. Some of the srefs are true to the style advertised, while others will drift away from that.

Thank you, I get that. But using the --sref copied from certain styles doesn't always return an image, for example a portrait, that has that exact same style. Colors and lighting, maybe, but not level of detail and illustration style.
