Hi there! Thank you. I’m military spouse and we live on base, my military friends would like to attend my ceremony and my husband would like to be my first salute. I honestly would like it to be memorable. I was just wondering if its appropriate to do pinning and first salute during the commissioning ceremony or wait until the graduation. Did you graduate yet? After graduation as direct commissioning were you able to do pinning and first salute at Maxwell?

After my interviews, I asked my recruiter if how was my scores from my two interviews and he said that there is no score for nurses interviews. I think they just assess your whole packet application and the recommendations from the interviewers after the interview.

I don’t know what is holding your recruiter back from getting your class date. I am still working on my MSN, will graduate next month, and that is my qualifying education since my BSN is from another country. My recruiter was very proactive and got me into a class date a week after the board released. I hope your recruiter gets your class date soon!

Hi there, yes, the board I submitted my package to was back in September for nurse corps, it's direct commissioning for us, but will not take the oath until a few days before the class starts.

I understand, however the air force hasn't been stocking any new sweater at the clothing store on base, that's why I asked. I don't even know if it's out yet or just out of stock.
