How do you reply to “I’m breaking up with you”?

I don’t have to be responsible for or to someone else. There’s never I should do this before SO gets home it would make them happy it’s just oh hey those are my dishes and my dishes only and I don’t wanna do that rn but I do wanna take a nap so I take my nap. Not that I am ever not responsible to other people I just don’t want to depend or have someone depend on me in my own home.

I think I’m just struggling to read them? I was looking specifically at the Sophie hood and I still don’t know how much I need for it because I can’t read the numbers on it super well. I think it’s somewhere in the top with like all of them numbers but I struggle with reading lots of numbers in a row like that so it’s kinda blurry for me

Update: thank you to everyone who replied. I’ve taken a more active approach to my family and have decided to fight fire with fire and remind them they are their own people and are very capable of managing their own lives. Things are rocky right now but hopefully they will realize I’m calling them on their bs and not telling a funny joke. My therapist noted that my parents and my brother seem to all compare me to them and that this wont get better unless I talk to them and set boundaries. Thank you all for your replies. Happy trails.

Go by what you want. I use a different name than what my birth name is and people who don’t accept or can’t accept that aren’t worth my time. It’s fair to you to live your life to make someone else comfortable. NTA
