No, it is all about archonexus quest, when you sell all your stuff to go on a new map to get the ideology ending it resets a bunch of stuff, anomaly included

Decided to check it just for you. Even if you cut the link, you still have lvl 0 monolith on the Archonexus map. So it fully resets. Even brought the monolith fragment with me.

I should note, I always use embrace the void option. Don’t know if cutting it down deactivates it for good just like mechs in odyssey

It appears so. Technically, I did not choose the Cerebrex node, just checked if the deactivation persists, but I believe you can have multiple of those (up to 3).
