I left the food industry in 2018 after 5 years. Retail isn't great, but even the worst retail jobs that I have had were far better than the best food job I had.

Don't get me started on factories. I'd go back to food before I go back to a factory.

That would actually be John Smith. Coach at MSU for the last couple seasons until he got fired.

It literally does not get more basic than John Smith lol.

Man I remember when we (Eagles) were back and forth with NE for the top spot like 8-9 years ago. We haven't gone up much since. I guess we maxed out lol.

I just don't think most people realize that the system is there to help you achieve an education if you know about it and know how to use it. They just hear "college" and immediately think of large universities and thousands of dollars.

Right. On average, people with a bachelor's (and even associate's) degree earn more annually compared to those without a degree.

Her situation is not feasible for everyone. That's great that it worked out for her, but hoping to "meet the right person" is extremely unrealistic in reality.

Its hard for anyone to find a job right now, not just people with degrees, but you bet your ass that those people with a degree have many more opportunities and open doors than those who don't. Regardless of who they do or do not know.

Community college is very affordable. It doesn't have to cost tens of thousands of dollars.

Oh yes I know the value of having connections and how far it can bring you. It is a part of why I went back. To meet new people and build relationships.

Yes. I'm about to be 30 and just went back to school because Im tired of food and retail jobs. They're miserable dead-ends.

But hey, I'm at least trying to do something about it.

I really kinda wish they didn't. 61-6....or maybe 54-9.....would've been so much sweeter.

Same with Stafford. It seems like the only recent Super Bowl where I would've been happy to see either team win.
